New Community is a place we have dreamed of for a long time. We wanted to design a place where people would be welcomed with grace and acceptance and invited into a relationship with God. Understanding that most people view church as dull and boring, we set out to create something that would be relevant, full of energy, passion, joy and an all around fun place to be.
We have determined to be strategic and intentional about how we move forward. And so change is not just a buzzword, it is the reality of life as we maneuver and adjust in an attempt to build momentum.
Because of our core belief in the life-changing truth of God’s Word, we have pre-determined that we will use every creative and effective tool at our disposal to communicate the relevance of this message to each of our lives. And it is this foundational belief that ignites in us a willingness to take on big challenges and risks that are only possible through prayer and faith.
In the process, we will strive to be authentic with ourselves and with those who do not yet know God. We will be a place where people matter more than buildings or things. And we’ll never stops dreaming because God has created us to do truly amazing things!
