Chances are when you think of the Ten Commandments you think about the last time you broke one. Your mind might flash to a courtroom with a stern faced judge and a red faced prosecutor, or to the last time you sheepishly handed your license to a police officer. But what if you were to think of them differently? Not simply as laws to be broken, but as statements of love written by God himself for your well being and so that you could know him more fully? Join us this Sunday as we kick off a new summer series: "10 Ways God Says 'I Love You.'"
Women at Risk Walk/Run

Put your foot down on human trafficking by participating in a 5K walk, 5K run, or 10K run at Sagamore Hills Park at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1. The cost is $20 per racer or $50 per family, and 100% of entry fees go to support Women at Risk International. To register, go online at www.unveilrace.com.

On Sunday evening, June 2, New Community will host its very first grilling competition at Northgate Park (the park is located just east of Colorado Avenue between Detroit and I-90 in Avon) at 5 p.m.!
