From the moment you enter Avon Heritage School North on a Sunday morning, you’ll know you’re in a place to build friendships.  Probably your first experience with New Community will be one where you observe individuals engaged in conversation with one another.  It goes further than that though.  We love each other, encourage one another, laugh together, cry together and do life in community.

Community Groups: One of the best places where you can build friendships while learning how to apply God’s principles to your life is in a small group environment.

Kid’s Adventure Zone: We believe learning should be fun which results in Bible lessons that are creative, age-appropriate, interactive and relevant to today’s children.

Teens: Imagine a leader who talks to you, not at you (or worse, down to you) about hard issues you face every day.  Mix that with fun events and opportunities to make a difference across the street or around the world and you’ve got a truly unique environment.

Young Adults:  We’ve decided to follow Christ, and now we’re trying to figure out what that looks like. For some of us, it’s just been a few weeks or months. For others, we’ve been working at this for years. But one thing we’ve all discovered: it’s better when we do it together.

Men’s Activities: In an atmosphere of encouragement and unity, men are finding the courage to not only pursue God but also to lead and develop others in their spheres of influence.

Women’s Activities: The influence of women in our families, friendships and communities is truly a remarkable thing.  Our desire for women is that together they find ways to impact the world.

Community Involvement: We’ve always placed a priority on people over buildings and things.  So we naturally are heavily involved in the communities in which we live.

If I’ve learned anything at New Community, it’s about how to be “authentic”. We talk about “authenticity” a lot… what it means to be realistic and transparent on a level that helps others feel as though they can relate to us… that our lives and struggles are more similar than we may have originally thought.
